I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed this Palos Verdes engagement session. Elizabeth and Dale are the King and Queen of silly and fun! Their love for each other is so evident and so strong. I hope you enjoy their story and photos as much as I do!

Here is their story:

After a long day of walking in the sun with the Mooney clan to celebrate Father’s Day Elizabeth suggested to Dale that they should go to the beach and watch the sunset. Truthfully, Dale had been pestering Elizabeth for a couple weeks before this day to do exactly that. So on their way to the beach they decided to invite a few special friends to join them. Despite an inkling that today would be the day Dale asked for her hand in marriage she lost all suspicions as they invited those special friends. Once everyone arrived at the beach we all started walking in the sand near the water. Elizabeth noticed that the group they were with slowly fell behind. Thinking nothing of it, she enjoyed the special time with Dale. Then suddenly Dale wasn’t next to her anymore. She turned to look for him and there he was, down on one knee, ring out in the open, with a silly grin on his face. Immediately, Elizabeth blurted out “Is this real??” and Dale replied “Yes! Will you marry me?”. Then without hesitation, as a wave crashed around her, Elizabeth said “YES!”. Without missing a beat that group of friends that followed them down to the water surrounded them with love and hugs to celebrate the momentous occasion.
