I bet your baby is growing right before your eyes. One week old to one year old is the quickest/longest year of their life – I think you know what I mean. Is your baby quickly turning into a toddler? Milestone photo sessions are the best way to document your baby’s growth. Milestone photography sessions are so much fun and really capture this super sweet time in your baby’s life. These sessions are usually 20-30 minutes long. This is just the right amount of time for your busy baby. They happen outdoors at the South Bay location of your choosing. These sessions are so simple, but still capture your baby’s giant personality. Milestone sessions are fuss free. We have fun while getting beautiful photos of your baby’s tiny features and their cute disposition, while maximizing the time we spend taking photos.
Babies change so quickly! Just like the old adage says, the days are long but the years are short. There are so many changes that happen in such a short amount of time. When my babies were little and I was in the moment I really felt like I would remember how they felt in my arms or what their little faces looked like. Years later I realize how thankful I am that I took the time to photograph those moments. The photos really help me remember what they were like when they were tiny.
Don’t let newborn photos be the last photo session you schedule for your baby. Milestone sessions are so special and are more affordable than regular family photo shoots. Milestone sessions are generally scheduled between 3 months and 1 year. I often schedule “sitter sessions” when your baby is first able to sit up on their own, “walking sessions” when baby is finally able to stand on their own and maybe take a step or two, and one year milestone photo sessions. Babies often don’t walk or stand until after a one year of age, so the standing sessions are also scheduled after the first birthday.
These photos are so fun to look back on for years to come. Especially your baby will be happy in a few years when they can look back on these photos and see how cute they were. My kids are so happy when they see photos of when they were little. I recommend printing out several 4 x 6 photos to hand to your toddler. They will love to have photos of themselves. These photos will be a fun treasure also to discover behind a bed or the couch in a year or two (at least that happens at my house).
