My little Baruch is now five! I think I need a recount. Did we accidentally skip a year somewhere in there? Five sounds too big for my heart. I think he should be four for at least one more year. Doesn’t that sound fair?

I asked him today if he thought that five would be more fun than four. He was certain that five would be much better. With the way things have been going for the past four years I bet he’s right. I bet five will be the best year yet.

Baruch is my little sweetheart. He is generous (to a fault), he is kind, he is so tender. My Baruchie builds the coolest Lego creations. He loves to talk about butts and poop. He loves to color, cut, and paste. Then he gives me the results.

Baruch likes a certain kind of order. Since he could crawl, he would find piles of books and lay them in a row. He would find cars and put them in order by color. He would tidy the shoes, but instead of putting each shoe near its match, he would put the all left shoes on one side of the shoe rack and all the right shoes on the other. They would be in matching order according to left and right shoes. Accordingly, Baruch was born on 06/03 at 3:06 and weighed 6lbs and 3oz.
