Danie, I really can’t put into words exactly how special it was having you photograph our family!
We had so much fun and after the shoot I found myself wishing we could do it all over again. I did not anticipate how strongly I would feel about the pictures before we saw them. They are a testimony to me of what God has done in our family. His goodness and how He has brought us closer together. We love our pictures!
Thank you for taking us to such a beautiful place and for making us feel so special and comfortable.

Being a first time mom, I had done a ton of research on the “look and feel” that I wanted our photos to have. I had a lot of anxiety going into a shoot…”We only get the chance to take these once!” “Will she have a meltdown or a blow-out mid shoot?” “Do I need to know all the poses I want for her??”
Danie eased all of these anxieties completely.
She “gets” newborn photography and masters it! She flawlessly captured the cozy, sleepy, sweet look that I wanted for our little one. She was such a pro at posing our baby and setting up adorable props, wraps and bows.
She set the tone for the shoot by allowing us to take our time feeding our girl and getting her nice and sleepy. She let our baby set the pace of the shoot and was so patient and kind. She had a heater set up to make the room cozy and she soothed our girl so well any time she got fussy. The entire experience felt so relaxed and I could tell she really took her time to capture the perfect shots- which she did!
When I saw the finished product, I cried. She shot the most beautiful photos of our little girl in her first week of life. Such a priceless gift!
