Meet the Schoen Family – Family Photographer Palos Verdes

I can’t wait for you to meet this beautiful family!

I got an email from Sara describing the type of photo session that she was wanting. I knew immediately that we were going to have a wonderful time together. Sara asked for a few posed photos, but really what she was hoping to capture was their normal family life. Sara and Tim have a one year old named Alison. Little Alison learned to walk just a few weeks ago! (She’s doing a great job, by the way.) Sara, wanted to be sure that she captured those precious moments of her little crawler turning into a toddler. She wanted to get photos of her family in their first home. All of those requests made my heart leap for joy.

Look at these two! This baby girl loves to giggle and daddy sure knows how to make that happen.

Wiggle wiggle wiggle and go! Alison didn’t stop for a moment during our time together. She has learned to walk and now she is ready to run!

Apparently, just before she learned to walk, little Ali liked to scoot around her knees. Even on her knees this little girl is FAST! 

This was one of my favorite moments with the Schoen’s. We were going inside the house to take photos and Ali wasn’t going to have it. Once she realized that we were heading in, she turned around and ran full force back outside! 

Alison loved to see photos of her mommy when she was little. She was more still and quiet in this moment than any other time during our session.

Books books books! You can tell that Sara and Alison spend a lot of time reading together. Ali had some pretty clear favorites.

After a little time inside, it was time to go back out again. There were no complaints from this little girl!

I loved this moment between Sara and Tim. They’ve got one joyful and busy little girl, but their love for each other is clearly the foundation of their family.

And, she’s off and ready for another adventure!
